PPG Industries is a global company seeking a seasoned leader to direct the team responsible for strategic growth of the Mobility product portfolio.

In this role, you'll drive activities critical to continue to outpace market growth by gaining share through leading technology and commercial relationships. This requires the ability to lead change and lead people. You will be relied upon for your ideas on new ways to build high level customer relationships and influence at multiple levels within the organization to further our competitive advantage in the industry.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for meeting customer demands and translating the current and future customer needs to drive a diverse product portfolio within the USCA region. After all, our reputation is based on not just achieving but exceeding our customer's needs.

Additional Responsibilities include

  • Achieving strong start-up sales based

  • on selling a differentiated product portfolio.

  • Identifying key customer targets and promoting a value proposition to key decision makers.

  • Building sustainable Tier 1 customer relationships at various organizational levels.

  • Working internally with global and regional business leaders to set a strategic path forward for the Mobility segment.

  • Driving the strategy within a global matrixed organization.

  • Traveling to customer sites, trade shows, corporate office and manufacturing sites- about 50%.


  • Bachelor's degree Business Administration or Marketing, MBA a plus.

  • 8 years' business development experience.

  • Demonstrated success in managing a team and driving improved performance.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a "Hunter" sales track record.

  • Expertise selling to automotive OEM/Tier I/II customers; paint/coatings experience preferred.

  • Advanced MS Office, including Excel.

  • CRM proficiency a plus.
