Pay: $22-$28 per hour (depending on experience), plus bonus.

All new regular full-time employees begin accruing 4 hours of PTO per pay period and increases after your first year. Part-Time employees will accrue PTO at an hourly rate of .046 regardless of tenure.

Paid Holidays: Hannah Motor Company offers 5 paid holidays per year to Technicians subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Mobile Service Coordinator and prepare for the day's appointments.

  • Apply hospitality skills by warmly greeting and engaging with customers while representing the Dick Hannah Ford and Ford Motor Company.

  • Consult with the customer on work to be performed.

  • Perform multi-point inspection.

  • Perform the work needed in a clean and efficient manner.

  • Committed to an exceptional customer experience and leaving vehicle cleaner than when arrived.

  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.

  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.

  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

  • Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.

  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.

  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.

Qualifications

  • ASE technician certification preferred

  • 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • Base level technician B/C preferred

  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred

  • Scan tool usage preferred

  • IDS, FDRS, Generic Scanner(optional dealer preference) preferred

  • Ability to Program Modules, Perform DTC's Retrieval, and Possible PID interpretation preferred

  • Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking)

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize according to deadlines

  • Ability to navigate a tablet

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Research skills

  • Quality driven

  • Tech will be bending, squatting, and laying on the ground

  • Under vehicle services to be performed

  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions

  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Some Mobile Service Van repairs may necessitate the ability to lift between 50 and 80 pounds
