Mobile Registrar With CDL License (Days)

Assists with the daily maintence of the unit to include fueling, safety checks of all necessary components of the vehicle. Drives a 40 foot Mobile mammography coach to various locations within the Tanner network. Greets incoming patients and receives patient information from physicians' offices. Pre-registers & registers patients for Tanner Breast Health Mobile Mammography Unit. Schedules patients, completes order entry, verifies insurance and pre-certification, calculates and estimates amount due, pre-collection of selective patient accounts and checks medical necessity. Finalizes registration for patients upon arrival into the system. Work assignment could include multiple locations within the System. Drive & park mobile mammography truck. Assist mammography technologist in the perfomance of screening mammography and bone desity studies.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Licenses & Certifications

• Commercial Drivers License

• Healthcare Provider (CPR)

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and apply a large variety of operating procedures.

• Ability to interact and work well as part of a team oriented environment.

• Ability to make independent decisions, displaying emotional maturity and using sound judgement.

• Ability to organize for maximum time utilization and smooth patient flow.

• Ability to read and write legibly with spelling accuracy.

• Ability to type 30 wpm.

• CDL Class B Commercial License with air brake endorsement.

• Must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire.

• Must posses excellent public relations skills. Pleasant professional demeanor when dealing with the public which may include irate or verbally abusive individuals. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and maintain good working relations with all persons encountered.

• Prefer previous clerical experience, one of which must be access (registration or scheduling) experience. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Relevant training or education may be considered as experience.

• Proficient use of computer equipment.

Monday thru Thursday 10 hour days occasional Saturday
