Merakey is currently seeking Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker to join our Behavior Health Division in our Philadelphia, PA location.


Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker is a direct care psychiatric rehabilitation worker, under the direction of a Program Director/Program Coordinator/Manager, whose primary focus is the delivery of community services to individuals with mental health and co-occurring challenges.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human service field or a high school diploma and 2 years of human services work experience that includes one year of mental health direct care experience.

All candidates will complete 60 hours of psychiatric rehabilitation training within 2 years of hire (CPRP certification a plus).

Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a recovery-based-trans-disciplinary team environment.

Ability to travel with members by public transportation. (Must possess own vehicle, valid driver's license and a clean record a plus).

Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including evening and/or weekends which includes a 24/7 on call service on a rotating schedule.

Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques. Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP) strong background in Psychiatric or D&amp;A and Co-Occurring Disorders, knowledge of HIPPA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required.
