The Field Support Technician is responsible for site image and maintenance of company owned Flyers Energy cardlock fueling sites to include cleaning, repairing, and maintenance of equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide prompt and courteous service to both internal and external users
Perform daily visual inspections as required by the governing agencies.
Maintain and repair fuel dispensing equipment at Flyers Energy operated sites which includes: changing of hanging hardware, changing fuel filters, meter repairs, card readers, printers, and other items as needed.
Responsible for cleaning cardlock fueling site including disposing of trash, refilling supplies, changing light bulbs and sweeping island and fuel lanes.
Paints islands and bollards as needed and paint the building annually.
Assist guest having problems at the fueling site and answer their questions.
Provide onsite support for company operated equipment and software; Repairs equipment at stations including card readers, site controllers and dispensers.
Identify, order, pick up, and install parts needed to complete repairs to equipment or facilities.
Attend inspections and compliance testing at Company facilities.
Interface with Local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies and personnel on a regular basis.
Maintain a working knowledge of all current Local, State, and Federal regulations pertaining to Underground Storage Tanks (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST).
Maintain records associated with the underground and above ground storage tank systems to include: Permits, testing, hazardous materials business plans (HMBP), financial responsibility, emergency response plans, Spill prevention counter control measure plans (SPCC), and Storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP).
Coordinate with all necessary parties to ensure that UST equipment including: piping, dispenser pan, automatic tank gauge, tank and pipe monitoring, overspill and overfill protection, and dispensers are all operated and maintained within proper compliance.
Maintain a working knowledge of Weights and Measures requirement for calibration of dispensing equipment.
Manage on-site hazardous waste program to ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal practices.
Maintain a working knowledge of Local, State, and Federal health department regulations and fire codes throughout multiple districts.
Maintain Company standards pertaining to matters of compliance with both existing and upcoming regulatory requirements.
Respond to any on-call situations 24/7; Troubleshoot emergency situations through to resolution.
Identify problems and develop plans to bring situations to an appropriate resolution in line with company and department objectives.
Meet company driving insurability requirements.
Effectively manage all work assigned to you through the company help desk system.
Promote and support company image standards
Cross train and/or act as back up for other positions in the department
Adheres to all city, county, state and federal regulations
Stay familiar with the Company Handbook and Company Policies
Communicate effectively with team members in other departments to resolve problems and provide information as needed
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents immediately
Presents a neat, clean appearance in uniform as prescribed by the Company.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two (2) years of related experience. Other education and/or experience may be considered as a substitute. Proficient in MS Office applications and Google applications/email required.
LANGUAGE and/or COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read and comprehend instructions as well as procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other team members. Ability to communicate with Company personnel using the intercom, voice-mail and e-mail systems.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in order to carry out routine tasks in relation to the essential duties of the position. Ability to read and analyze basic statistics.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to strategize and create or revise campaigns accordingly.
