The Team
Fidelity Investments has an exciting senior software engineering opportunity to support our Mobile Virtual Device Lab responsible for building and supporting scalable and highly reliable Mobile testing with focus on DevOps. For both Android and iOS Platforms.
As a senior software engineer you will be applying your strong development and testing skills to support the design, development, testing and deployment of our mobile applications. You will also be supporting the mobile community in adopting test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure we are building the right product and we are building it right.
The Expertise You Have
Minimum 3 years of experience with architecting Mobile automation test platforms
Minimum 2 years of experience with architecting and optimizing development pipelines (CI / CD)
Hands-on experience with mobile development and testing is a must.
You will help implement, build, test & support important enterprise software applications
You will maintain, upgrade and setup the private device cloud with the latest devices and OS needs
Hands on experience with IOS, Android & OSX operating systems
Hands on experience in Javascript, Java, Python, Linux, Docker, Excel & SQL
Accessibility testing knowledge is a plus.
Vendor Management Experience is a plus
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field

Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security.
Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit and functional tests.
Mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health.
Creating standards in creation and maintenance of test code

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
