Mobile Equipment Mechanic - OS

Overview

Repairs and maintains electric, diesel, and gasoline mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reads job order and observes/listens to equipment to determine malfunction and plan work procedures, collaborating with team members.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mobile equipment, including but not limited to: Skid-Steers, Forklifts, Loaders, Balers, Street Sweepers, etc.

• Perform Preventative Maintenance as designated on mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately and efficiently.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 3 years mobile mechanic experience.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail.

• Proficient in inventory entries, utilizing technology software.
