Crisis Services is now hiring Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors interested in working three (3) 10-hour days/week with full-time benefits as part of our team of Community Outreach crisis intervention professionals. This is an exciting new schedule option that provides a competitive hourly rate while helping to protect time outside of work for people fulfilling this critical role.

About this opportunity:
Mobile Crisis Counselors are part of our Emergency Mental Health Response Services team. These Master's-level Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors are responsible for providing on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in crisis or emergency mental health situations in the community. The primary goals of this program are client safety, suicide prevention, and hospital diversion.

Work Setting:
What you will bring to this position:
Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, and
Licensure/permit or permit-eligibility in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
One (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a mental health or human service setting.
A valid NYS driver's license and access to a usable vehicle.
