Mobile Coach Driver (30 Hrs/Week, Days)

Wage Range: $24.41 - $36.95 per hour

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Mobile Coach Driver to join the Mammography Team.

Job Summary: This Mobile Coach Driver is responsible for operating the Mobile Mammography Coach which includes driving to appointed sites, patient registration, and returning the coach to its home base after the patient schedule is completed.

Primary Duties:

1.Responsible for the operation and minor maintenance of the Mobile Coach.

2.Delivers the coach to scheduled sites and returns to home base

3.Greets patients and assists them in getting to and from coach

4.Interviews patients or their representatives to obtain demographic and billing information

5.Enters patient information into the computer, with accuracy.

6.Assists patients in completing appropriate consent and admit forms.

7.Responsible for implementing Downtime Registration Process when computer connection is not working

8.Informs patients of hospital's financial policies and procedures

9.Schedules appointments for walk-in screening mammograms

10. Cleans and restocks the coach after each shift

11. Assists the Outreach Coordinator with distributing printed materials during outreach events

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:

o High school graduate or GED

o Must have completed training to obtain a Combination Driver's License (CDL) minimum class "B" with air brake restriction removed.

o Washington State Combination Driver's License (CDL) (minimum class "B" with air brake restriction removed) required by date of hire.

o Previous commercial driving experience

o Current Washington State Driver's license and proof of insurability

o Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire

DESIRED for the position:

o Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of WA

o Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification

o Current or eligible for national Medical Assistant certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). If hired after July 2013, must be AAMA certified.
