We are seeking talented individuals to join our energetic, compassionate team of behavioral health professionals in providing clinical excellence to our patients as they strive to meet their treatment goals and work towards an improved quality of life. We have a current opening for a Mobile Assessment Team clinician.

The Mobile Assessment Clinician provides high-quality 5150 assessments, disposition and limited case management services for clients in Yolo County hospital emergency departments and in the community of Yolo County. The clinician will provide assessment and placement coordination services as scheduled after regular business hours during the weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., on weekends and during county holidays. Additionally, clinicians will respond to requests for on-site in-person response, assessment and placement coordination in the community in collaboration with law enforcement. Evaluations for assessment, intervention and triage shall be provided in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Heritage Oaks Hospital and Yolo County. ::

Job Requirements

Education: Minimum required is a Master's degree in social services, or behavioral health field and licensed (LMFT or LCSW) or license-eligible.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family dynamics, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations. Experience with high-intensity crisis work preferred.

Additional Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.

Handle with Care (HWC) certified by facility and 5150 certification required within 30 days of employment. Must have demonstrable skill in assessing all age groups.

VIEW JOBS 1/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-20T00:00 Job Summary: The Clinician Scheduling Specialist is responsible for managing new clinician template builds as well as the day to day management of daily and permanent edits to a clinician's EPIC template for all SMF departments. The Clinician Scheduling Specialist is also responsible for Visit Type Management including, durations, instructions, and restrictions which frequently involves making changes in a live environment in the Cadence template build application within EPIC. The Clinician Scheduling Specialist is also responsible for any changes requested that require other builds by the IS teams and must have knowledge of working in ITSM. The Clinician Scheduling Specialist consults with Care Center Leads, Clinicians, and Supervisors and advises on template design, changes, and arrange timelines for implementation of new templates. Ensures appropriate decisions are being made when template changes are requested to align with template standards. Processes change requests received by paper, e-mail, fax, phone, or voice-mail within expected turnaround times. Manages, coordinates and communicates clinician/physician time-off requests and unscheduled absences that will impact patient care. Manage and communicate clinicians' short-notice cancellations to appropriate staff. Responsible for the daily tracking and reporting of template related data. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma required, some college course work preferred. Experience: * Related experience equivalent to 2-4 years preferably in a medical setting with experience with IDX, EPIC or scheduling application required. * Previous experience with Cadence Template builds. * Previous experience with processing change requests and incidents in ITSM. Skills and Knowledge: * Computer skills, basic mathematics, spelling and English writing skills * Professional business image according to policy. * Telephone etiquette and positive customer relations skills. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical foundation personnel, medical group physician leaders as well as other entities that support Epic Template functions. * Good telecommunication skills and the ability to handle multiple demands in a calm and efficient manner are essential. * Ability to be self-directed in work habits and prioritization. * Working knowledge of ITSM and Cadence applications. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to process template changes in a timely manner with little to no errors.
