We have a current opening for a Mobile Assessment Team clinician.
The Mobile Assessment Clinician provides high-quality 5150 assessments, disposition and limited case management services for clients in Yolo County hospital emergency departments and in the community of Yolo County. The clinician will provide assessment and placement coordination services as scheduled after regular business hours during the weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., on weekends and during county holidays. Additionally, clinicians will respond to requests for on-site in-person response, assessment and placement coordination in the community in collaboration with law enforcement. Evaluations for assessment, intervention and triage shall be provided in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Heritage Oaks Hospital and Yolo County. ::
Education: Minimum required is a Master's degree in social services, or behavioral health field and licensed (LMFT or LCSW) or license-eligible.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family dynamics, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations. Experience with high-intensity crisis work preferred.
Thorough knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
Handle with Care (HWC) certified by facility and 5150 certification required within 30 days of employment. Must have demonstrable skill in assessing all age groups.
