Under direct supervision, this position supports the Donor Recruitment department by working directly with the sponsoring blood drive coordinators to coordinate all logistics of the blood drive.


Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

Assures quality customer service to all customers.

Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.

Initiates contact with sponsor groups throughout a twelve week communication process.

Monitors the blood drive account in the Operations Management System which includes confirming all data at the account and blood drive level are accurate and complete, completes drive trip sheets for assigned Donor Recruitment Representative, and logs all contacts with sponsoring groups for each blood drive.

Trains and assists the blood drive coordinators in using the Customer Contact System.

Reschedules sponsor accounts for future months based on eligibility and center scheduling methods.

Performs onsite recruitment by signing up donors for future blood drives, as needed.

Organizes and maintains assigned Donor Recruitment Representative's meetings and presentation schedule.

Promotes and executes online sign-ups with the sponsoring blood drive.

Assists with departmental and/or operational needs, including assisting with printed materials, managing social media, and managing the Hero online store.

Manages in-center promotions, as needed.

Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.


Knowledge/ Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Associates degree preferred.

Licenses/ Certifications



One year related experience required.


Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.

Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Must have proficient computer skills.

Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.
