CGI Federal is preparing to support The Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Software Engineering Center (SEC), Command, Control, and Communications Tactical (C3T) Directorate which provides life cycle software solutions, management, and support for Mission Command and Control, Tactical, and Fires Platforms/Systems that provide Warfighting superiority and information dominance across the Battlefield; located at Lawton/Fort Sill, Ok and Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

SEC C3T provides software engineering and sustainment support services for a wide variety of Army and

Department of Defense (DoD) customers including Army Program Executive Officers (PEOs), Project

Managers (PMs), Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) Foreign Military Sales programs,

Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) and its components, and other Joint Service DoD elements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

CGI is currently seeking highly skilled professionals interested in contributing their expertise to assist in providing Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post Production Software Support (PPSS) maintenance and sustainment of multiple programs of record. All positions require at a minimum a Secret clearance

VIEW JOBS 1/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-16T00:00 Overview The Distributed Common Ground Station-Army engineering and sustainment services Ground Station Integration Facility infrastructure team supports all system specific development areas inside the DCGS-A Family of Systems baseline. Additionally, the team is responsible for communicating with respective stakeholders and PoR representatives to resolve critical issues in a timely and effective manner. As a part of this team, your work efforts will contribute to the maintenance of the mixed-use data centers and standalone development environments supporting integrations, testing, and cyber security of the DCGS-A family of products. Bottom line we build, implement, and maintain software tools and system environments used for delivering new IT solutions to the U.S. Army. Responsibilities As a DCGS-A System Engineer, you will work as a system specific subject matter expert for the DCGS-A Family of Systems under sustainment. You must communicate and collaborate to resolve issues with Field Support Engineers, the Development Support Team, the Project Lead, The Integration team, and PM to further evolve the DCGS-A systems development environments. Specifically, you will: * Deploy, configure and maintain system specific baselines within an integrated lab facility to support scans, audits, and interoperability testing. * Participate in the development of test strategies. * Assist in the documentation and reporting of specific issues encountered in the load and test process. * Support the transition of software and hardware environments from the PM to the Depot. * Operate in a hybrid virtualization environment working with VMware ESXi, vCloud, and standalone systems. * Participate in staff conferences as a subject matter expert on the respective baselines. * Assist in research, selection and implementation of virtualization and storage solutions * Assist the system specific development teams with the development of documentation for software installs on multiple hardware baselines and provide back to the lab manager Qualifications * A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline and 5 years of professional work experience is required. Four additional years of applicable work experience (total of 9 years) may be substituted for the degree. * Experience with either DCGS-A v3, or other similar Windows based Mission Command systems * Working knowledge of Fixed supporting operating systems (Microsoft Windows 7, Server 2008 R2, or Server 2012) * Knowledge of Microsoft common services and existing within a Microsoft environment. * Experience in administering SQL or Oracle databases * Must be self-starter, willing to take complete ownership of complex technical problems * Should be able to think clearly and articulate with appropriate level of abstraction his/her thought process on complex technological issues * DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certified (baseline security certification i.e. CompTIA Security+ce) and (technical computing environment training or certification i.e. Server+) prior to start of work * TS/SCI Eligibility needed based on final work assignment Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated knowledge of VMware, SCCM, and database administration * 10+ years' experience with Army PoR systems and system fielding * Experience in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, batch files, InstallScript, Wise Script, etc.) * MCSE or other related Microsoft certification * VCP5 or higher * Demonstrated experience with software developers or Lab Management operations * Familiarity of project management principles About the Organization KeyW is a pure-play national security solutions provider for the Intelligence, Cyber and Counterterrorism Communities' toughest challenges.
