Senior level small business consultant responsible for driving the success of the Wells Fargo's Small Business Customer Strategy which is a complex/diverse major product line with a high impact on profitability and success. Responsible for direct coaching of Senior Business Banking Specialists (Sr. BBS) and their branch managers as well as coordination of small business banker coaching with managers and Community Bank leadership to provide high-quality customer service and increase the ability to deepen customer relationships by recommending products and services. Coaching will be primarily delivered virtually. Sr. BBS have a dotted management line to the Small Business Segment Consultant. The Small Business Segment Consultant provides effective coaching that is inspirational, motivational and engaging, while leveraging Coaching 365 resources and tools. Analyzes performance trends, identifies developmental needs and provides daily coaching techniques and recommendations to improve performance. Conducts pre/post call planning, pipeline reviews, partners closely with Branch Managers to regularly review performance (including progress towards meeting PM&R objectives appropriately), partnership activities, and quarterly Business plans, assess performance, effectiveness and metrics of the individual Sr. BBS. The Small Business Segment Consultant plays a strong influence role across small business partners, providing necessary tools and resources to team members to increase the ability to recommend appropriate financial products and services to meet small business customer needs. Conducts regular team meetings with key partners and serves as the subject matter experts on small business segment tools and resources as part of the Sr. BBS ongoing learning and development.
Senior individual contributor accountable for strategic business development in assigned market or segment. Plans and executes strategic activities and projects that directly support the implementation and optimization of efforts to grow segment-specific sales/revenue/ profit/market share while ensuring adherence to compliance regulations and policies. Responsibilities include researching, identifying and selecting best channels, combination of channels and/or products to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplace and meet the unique needs of defined customer/business segments; developing internal and external relationships with bankers, brokers, business and community leaders; developing sales and/or marketing strategies and campaigns; establishing and enhancing relationships with various WF sales and functional groups to develop and execute programs to achieve market penetration, service and profitability goals; defining sales goals, metrics and tracking; developing and executing appropriate communications, processes and sales training; and maintaining/developing expert knowledge of product and delivery channels. Mentors lower level staff. May directly manage 1-2 consultants and/or virtual/cross-functional teams.
