Mixologist - The Vault And Pinky Ring - Bellagio

We are excited to invite experienced Mixologists to join our teams at The Vault and Pinky Ring at Bellagio. If you have prior experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in high-volume fine dining and nightlife settings, along with extensive knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic selections, we want to hear from you. THE JOB:

As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for having extensive knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic selections, as well as maintaining the appearance of the bar. You will serve guests at the bar with the highest level of service, ensuring a memorable and exceptional experience. In this role, you will work at both The Vault and Pinky Ring and will be expected to carry out all responsibilities in both venues. All tasks must be performed following departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.1666/hr Plus Tips.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make, serve, and demonstrate complex knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available, proportioning ingredients according to standardized; maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls and the cleanliness of the bar and equipment.

• Account for poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork.

• Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending.

• Demonstrate proficiency in food service, knowledge of menu, allergies, and other potential guest restrictions. This includes but is not limited to, proper marking, clearly, and tableside service. Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

• Utilize special tools and culinary equipment to prepare items like fresh juice a la minute, infusions, molecular style cocktails, cutting ice, and production of presentations items.

• Maintain effective communication with management, bartenders, and lateral departments in order to fully accompany any guest or employee needs.

• Utilize sales techniques in order to upsell food and beverage products available in the outlet while having a pristine dedication to refinery resulting in polished yet artistic cocktails, serving to elevate the guests' experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in high-volume fine dining and nightlife settings.

• Extensive knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic selections.

• Proven ability to provide top-notch service and create exceptional guest experiences.

• Strong attention to detail in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the bar.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and upscale environment across multiple venues.

• Prior experience in a luxury resort setting.

• Comfortable with working in both The Vault and Pinky Ring as needed.

• Capable of accommodating a flexible on-call/part-time schedule, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time hours as dictated by business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

• 5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience.

• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms.

• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

• Fine-Dining Service experience.

• Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars is a one-of-a-kind luxury cocktail lounge featuring premium cocktails and live entertainment. At this venue food is not served and guests are not allowed to use phones while inside.

• Please keep in mind shifts may work before or after hours of operations for opening and closing procedures.
