The Mixer Operator assembles ingredients, portions, weighs, and formulates according to customer specifications. This position operates computer controlled mixing system producing dough products.
Control the flow of allergens in the Sheeter room.
Control accurate formulations, document lot numbers, raw dough temperatures, and dough moisture percents and make ice formula adjustments as necessary, communicating to the bakery lead if a product is not meeting its specification.
Understands and performs all Food Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complies with all ODA and FDA regulations.
Understands cleaning chemicals and their handling procedures.
Understands the Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
Follows the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
Understands and follows all Lock Out Tag Out Standard Operating Procedures.
Understands and performs all Food Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
Maintains a clean, professional appearance and adheres to personal hygiene standards.
Maintains a safe, clean and sanitary working environment at all times.
Is aware of and follows all safety guidelines.
Knows where to find and read SDS information.
Reports any accidents or maintenance issues to the Team Leader.
Reports to the Team Leader and or Supervisor any issues or suggestions to improve quality performance or the working environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The following education, experience, and physical capabilities are required to perform in this role:
Food manufacturing experience is a plus
Experience working in a fast-paced team atmosphere is preferred
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from subzero to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for an extended period of time.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs for an extended period of time.
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
Subject to extreme cold with temperatures typically below 32 for periods of more than one hour.
Hazard including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high hear or exposure to chemicals.
