Mitigation Project Manager

Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Project Manager for Nevada Water & Fire, located in Sparks, NV. They are seeking someone with high energy and excellent problem-solving skills. As a Mitigation Project Manager, you will be responsible for responding to water damaged structures both residential and commercial. This person will need to be able to make the customer comfortable that their structure is going to be handled with the best care. This person will also be responsible for performing site inspections, setting up and leading the crew members, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of the loss through the use of Xactimate; negotiating with insurance carrier representatives. This person must have strong sales skills achieving a high close rate.

Responsibilities:

• Use Xactimate software to estimate/ invoice residential and commercial water, fire, and mold mitigation projects
• Ability to estimate and manage mitigation projects
• Respond to property damage emergency calls
• Ability to communicate with a variety of customers
• Ability to sell written estimates
• Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity and specific humidity.
• Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required
• Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Must be able to participate in an on-call schedule to dispatch crews
• Attend all appropriate company meetings
• Additional duties required as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years previous experience in related field (willing to train the right candidate)
• Xactimate experience is a plus. Must have excellent computer skills.
• IICRC, WRT/ASD and AMRT are a plus
• Proven sales track record
• Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detailed oriented person)
• Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
