The Role - Mitigation Project Manager
As the Mitigation Project Manager you will play a crucial role in mitigating further damage to property following a disaster and ensuring that the restoration process progresses smoothly and efficiently and that mitigation activities are carried out safely, effectively, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards according to the IICRC. Day to day responsibilities include:
Oversee a team of lead mitigation technicians.
Assess the extent of the damage to the property and develop a plan of action to mitigate further damage.
Coordinate and oversee mitigation activities such as water extraction, drying, smoke and odor removal, and mold remediation, depending on the nature of the damage.
Manage resources such as equipment, materials, and workforce to ensure that mitigation activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
Communicate with clients to keep them informed about the progress of mitigation efforts, answer any questions or concerns they may have, and provide guidance on next steps.
Maintain detailed documentation of the mitigation process, including damage assessments, work performed, and any necessary permits or approvals.
Oversee quality control measures to ensure that mitigation activities are carried out to the highest standards and that the property is restored to a safe and habitable condition.
Experience:
3 Years related experience in restoration
Organizational & multi-tasking skills.
Able to communicate effectively with all departments, subcontractors, and customers.
Licenses and Certifications
Lead Safe Renovator
Valid Driver's license
WRT/ASD preferred but not required
Physical Demands:
Lift (occasionally) 5-100 lbs. May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling. Ability to work in confined spaces. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent times.
Base Salary up to $80,0000 PLUS Monthly Uncapped Bonus Structure
