Job Summary

The Manager in Training acts as an Assistant Manager while taking the necessary courses and hands-on experience to successfully move to a keyed, store management position. They effectively direct sales by coaching and motivating employees to achieve personal and store sales goals. They also ensure compliance is met for all company operations, policies and procedures. The Manager in Training controls store shrink by practicing and preventing loss.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Applies and coaches others on 4-Step selling techniques

  • Achieves personal sales goals of Black Dot/Gold Star Performance

  • Achieves 2.0 IPC

  • Follows loss prevention procedures and controls shrink and expenses

  • Cleans and maintains good housekeeping

  • Adheres to company dress code policy

  • Delegates daily operational duties

  • Assists in conducting training and recruiting

  • Enforces and follows all company policies, procedures, guidelines and programs

  • Ensures work environment is safe and clean at all times

  • Maintains company visual standards

  • Protects company assets

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year retail management experience or 6 months working for Windsor at store-level

  • Proven leadership experience, ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees

  • Able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates

  • Communicates well and effectively in a one-on-one setting and in a group setting

Physical/Environmental Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, observes, communicates and reads. Regularly moves and pushes. Counts and writes to accurately complete documentation. Must be able to: access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise throughout the store (generally weighing from 0-25 pounds) and work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. Environment is fast-paced and indoor temperature conditions vary.

This group applies a common framework to drive efficient, consistent and compliant processes for vendor relationship and management of *' major clinical service providers. Serving as a bridge between *' clinical teams and external services providers, the Vendor & Outsourcing Management group within CTBP is responsible for building the appropriate in-house management/oversight structure and mechanisms, while driving the external collaboration with clinical service providers in effort to yield a multitude of innovative ideas to deliver on *' goals. This position reports to the Associate Director in IM. As an integral member of CTBP, the Outsourcing Manager is the process gatekeeper and expert related to outsourcing processes. The Outsourcing Manager will be asked to efficiently and independently perform the duties and responsibilities for this role as outlined below: * Provide operational expertise and strategic leadership, support, guidance and training to teams on all aspects of outsourced work * Ensure alignment of teams to the related * outsourcing strategies * Drive outsourcing activities by interfacing with operational teams, support groups and service providers for successful selection, contracting and execution of outsourced studies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, * outsourcing and procurement policies and procedures Requirements: * Degree in Legal, Life science, Business Administration or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus. * Clinical development experience of 3 to 5 years required, with Scientific, Financial and Project management experience desired * Experience interacting with a wide range of suppliers (e.g., Contract Research Organizations, Cooperative groups, Clinical laboratories, Core laboratories including ECG and Imaging service providers): initiating, negotiating and executing legal and/or financial agreements in the clinical trials environment- biotech or pharmaceutical industry * Proven experience in managing key internal and external stakeholders effectively by frequently soliciting input and gathering and incorporating feedback into processes as appropriate * Effective management of cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and demonstrated ability to work and influence within a matrix structure * Proven time management skills and ability to be flexible to meet job demands and take on new initiatives and improvement efforts * Ability to sustain high levels of performance in a constantly changing environment.
