The Mission Operations Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling of activities performed for the operation of a complex real-time system. Candidates should have experience in de-confliction of system assets and resources for a 24x7 operational system. You will coordinate the near-term schedule for an operational system and support re-planning for contingency and emergency operations.

  • Willingness to obtain a Full Scope polygraph - post hire;

  • Must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities, multiple demands and crises;

  • Is required to obtain system operations certification; The certification required has knowledge based learning and onthe-

job training provided.

  • Must have strong analytical skills and demonstrate strength in attention to detail;

  • Familiarity with Windows environments required;

  • Participates in the development of engineering processes, methods and tools;

  • Experience working in a real-time operations environment desired.

This position is not a master scheduler or MS Project type of position. It is a certified operations position which provides planning and scheduling functions utilizing custom software. This position works very closely with the customer and

requires a professional and customer focused attitude.

This position requires an individual work 12 hour rotating shifts.

This position requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance. Position is contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence. Please include clearance and date of recent SSBI on profile/resume to be considered.

  • Familiarity with engineering processes, methods and tools

  • Willingness to obtain a Full Scope polygraph - post hire;

Typical Education and/or Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities. More About the Role: * Create Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) based on Contract Work Breakdown Structure. * Advise Project Control and Engineering Team in detailed project planning and scope development for engineering and infrastructure projects. * Develop achievable master schedule critical path for project, program and contractual milestones. * Prepare project and program status reports based on current and forecast schedules; implement and maintain Schedule Change Control. * Ensure contract WBS is properly updated and current. * Integrate subcontractors into the IMS; conduct weekly IMS reviews with program team including subcontractors. * Process monthly project accounting and schedule performance data for EVMS reporting * Prepare trend analysis to identify problem areas and submit recommendations for corrective actions. * Prepare cost control, performance measurement reports, cost and schedule variance analysis reports, forecasts and studies . * Perform project management functions including analyzing requirements, evaluating earned value management (EVM) performance, establishing and maintaining project schedule policies, and projecting out-year requirements. * Actively monitor contract performance metrics to validate the presence of management value by providing independent assessments of performance issues to upper management based on EVM metrics analysis. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * BA/BS + 7 years of related experience, a high school diploma, GED and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted. * Sound knowledge of schedule systems, principles and practices required. * Must be able to build and maintain accurate and up-to-date complex Government Contract schedules working with multiple calendars. * Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules. * Experience with re-sequencing of the IMS based upon Government Option Period. * Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills. * Must be detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated. * Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. * Consistently demonstrates a high attention to detail. * Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance. * Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).
