Aretum, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a talented and experienced Mission Operations Lead to join our team at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). As the Mission Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating mission-based operations to support CISA's critical cybersecurity and infrastructure security objectives.
CISA is the nation's risk advisor, working with partners to defend against today's threats and collaborating to build a more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future. Joining the Aretum team at CISA will give you the opportunity to work closely with government agencies, industry partners, and cybersecurity professionals to protect and strengthen the nation's critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Experience coaching and working in a team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques; providing advice on work methods, practices and procedures; and assisting a team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a solution.
- Experience identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflows and skill levels.
- Experience training or arranging for training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks.
- Experience monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to ensure that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality of work have been met.
- Experience supporting program administration, process management, and event-support needs in high- visibility areas, such as customer service, student employment, recruiting events.
- Experience developing and updating policies, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), and guidance memorandums, outlining all actions plans for executing operational support.
- Experience conducting human capital or workforce-related research projects, as directed.
- Experience coordinating aligned human resources position functions including budget planning.
Requirements
- Must have at least ten (10) years / senior level experience providing daily mission operations to ensure CISA has centralized customer services, resources and advocates for day-to-day workforce needs; training requests and approvals, and the guidance and resources needed to meet performance management requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis to provide strategic advice and technical guidance.
- Possess excellent strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain/maintain DHS Suitability
