Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Mission Analysis Modeling & Simulation engineer to support Operations Analysis and/or Virtual Analysis across the RIS portfolio of leading edge, high-tech mission systems.
Looking for innovative, creative, and highly motivated individuals to develop computer models and simulations that effectively capture system and system of systems effects of RIS products in complex threat environments. These models will generate virtual and/or analytical solutions to identify technology gaps, create technology roadmaps, develop requirements, and specify or demonstrate the operational benefits of advanced concepts in complex operational scenarios.
Candidate will develop virtual and/or analytic simulations, execute analysis plans, and generate work products that inform system development or new business initiatives.
As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Not being able to secure the Secret Security Clearance needed for this position may result in an offer of employment being rescinded.
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
Experience developing with natively compiled languages (C++, etc.).
Object-oriented programming/design (OOP/OOD)
Strong grasp of mathematics including linear algebra, probability, and statistics
Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Familiarity with configuration management (GIT, subversion).
Proficiency in computer network fundamentals and programming
Proficiency or experience with installing and using variety of O/S's on a variety of targets, including virtualization. (Windows, Linux, VirtualBox, VMware, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
Experience with scientific computing environments (such as MATLAB, Simulink, STK)
Familiarity with computer Modeling and Simulation
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Python
Familiarity with gaming engines and/or technologies
(Unreal / Unity / OpenGL / GLSL / CUDA / 3D modeling)
Familiarity with GUI programming (WxWidgets, QT, Swing, MFC, etc.)
Familiarity with GIS tooling and concepts (ArcGIS, GlobalMapper, QGIS, DTED, etc.)
Familiarity with image processing (OpenCV)
Possess a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance (or ability to acquire)
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
Required Education: Must have a BS / BA with a major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or other related field by Summer 2020 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
