Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mission Integration Test Engineer to join our team in the Dahlgren, VA. This is an onsite position.

The Missile Integration Test Engineer will provide crucial support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) by executing missile integration test events at land-based facilities and shipboard during waterfront integration test (WIT) events. These events pertain to the SM-2, SM-3, SM-6, and ESSM missile systems, ensuring that any alterations to the missile or combat system function correctly for future missile engagements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Execute missile integration test events utilizing the NSWCDD-developed Virtual Operational Missile (VOM) electronic equipment suite.

  • Interface with radar, launcher, and combat systems to emulate tactical engagement scenarios and verify proper interface functionality.

  • Assist in the development of equipment and its preparation for off-site test events.

  • Perform installation and operation of test equipment during integration test events.

  • Attend various reviews and status meetings.

  • Standard business work hours, except for travel-related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience with electronic test equipment and testing protocols.

  • 1-3 years in tandem of experience in shipboard testing and integration of electronic equipment.

  • General knowledge and experience in Navy combat and weapons systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and other necessary software tools.

  • Work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred

  • Experience with any or all of the following:

  • Radio Frequency (RF) Knowledge.

  • Python knowledge, including syntax, workflows, database systems, and web applications.

  • SolidWorks or other computer-aided design, computer-aided engineering, 3D CAD design and collaboration, analysis, and product data management software.

  • Hardware Assembly and installation.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual

  • Ability to travel within the continental United States, including Moorestown, NJ; White Sands, NM; San Diego, CA; Pearl Harbor, HI, and potential foreign travel.
