Missile Defense Subject Matter Expert (SME), Strategic Missile Defense Integration Cell
The Missile Defense Subject Matter Expert supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Commands's Army Capabilities Manager for Strategic Missile Defense (ACM SMD). The SME advocates and coordinates Army Strategic Missile Defense requirements with all agencies with Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS) responsibilities, including DOD, the Joint Staff, the Army Staff, Missile Defense Agency, and other Service level staff..
Assist and serve as the ACM-SMD SME for the coordination with DOD, Joint Staff, Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and MDA staffs.
Assist the ACM-SMD in the analysis and approach to integrate ACM-SMD doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) products and Materiel Developer fielding plans with the development and implementation of strategic missile defense policies and capabilities.
Formulate and conduct periodic assessments of strategic goals and plans on how to achieve goals, including the development of themes, messages, and audiences.
Provide analysis of the strategic missile defense environment, strategic partnerships with key organizations, and strategic outreach.
Strong DOD missile defense background at operational and strategic levels.
12 years of direct strategic missile defense experience.
Bachelor's Degree (Maybe offset with additional experience)
Recent, relevant experience with:
Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) process.
Army Air Defense background
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
