Clean Harbors is seeking a MIS Accounts Payable Manager, known internally as a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst, to support the A/P department in daily and project-oriented responsibilities that fall in between Vice President and A/P Coordinator roles.
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Manage team of A/P coordinators and daily workload balance.
Manage research with field for transactions needing resolution.
Provide responses for management of difficult vendor needs, reconciliations and vendor auditor confirmations.
Work with MIS on process improvement and enhancement needs.
Instruct Purchasing Dept. on vendor remit addresses updates in agreement with invoice remit instructions.
5+ years of experience in a similar position
2 years of college of specialized training (MIS or Management)
Experience with Peoplesoft Accounts Payable system
Process improvement, change management, conduct planning meetings.
Managing staff of accounts payable invoice vouchering team
Organization, attention to detail, problem solving.
