Will be responsible for coordinating events, arranging meetings, recording minutes, and other duties in support of project activities. Responsible for supporting and coordinating the PI division calendar.

Will assist with the management of multiple projects, and specific project tasks within project work plans and development of presentations. Assists in designing, implementing, and managing standard documentation templates and tools to support project management activities. Assists with data collection; data analysis and summarization; and preparation of presentation graphics, flow charts, and other project related communications.

Assists in providing timely and accurate reporting of project performance metrics, including progress and outcomes. Assists in ensuring project activities are in compliance with defined Performance Improvement standards. Assists with the management of customer expectations and customer interactions.


Basic knowledge of business concepts and work flow at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor degree is preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Calendar tools.

Possesses basic knowledge of desktop applications such as Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Lync.

Familiarity or experience with project management and performance improvement methodologies is preferred.

Customer service experience is required.

Strong interpersonal /communication skills.

Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with spreadsheet (including graphs), database and presentation applications at a level normally acquired through completion of intermediate Microsoft Office Training

Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

Exceptional reading, writing, and grammar skills is required to facilitate proofing and editing (punctuation, grammar, and spelling) of documents, correspondence, minutes, etc

Ability to work with Performance Improvement professionals and perform assigned activities at a high level of proficiency.

Ability to learn new concepts with minimal training

Ability to participate in the facilitation and documentation of project related meetings.

VIEW JOBS 12/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-13T00:00 Under general direction, responsible for supporting the management of multiple Performance Improvement projects ranging from low to high complexity, from original concept through design and implementation, that are strategically focused and drive performance and financial results. This position may lead low to moderately complex programs. Serves as a key enabler of Performance Improvement activities across the Ministry by integrating people, process, and technology following departmental project management standards, responsible for completing workflow and application design, completing business assessments, developing and managing project budgets, developing and managing detailed project work plans, and implementing solutions for projects involving Performance Improvement activities. This position has a significant impact on the division's ability to meet business expectations of those we serve, improve quality, improve performance measures, reduce cost and improve financial performance. Plans and manages major business process change through efficient and effective use of performance improvement methodology and tools. Trains and leads project team members. Identifies critical integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinates the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish project goals. Ensure communication, coordination, and integration of project work with all areas affected by a project including those we serve, information services, impacted vendors, and facility leadership. Serve as a liaison with the business leaders of OSF Healthcare System. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge of healthcare delivery and management, information technology, basic budgeting, and healthcare legislation at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Nursing, or other closely related field in order to understand management principles and finance. * Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional level experience necessary to gain comprehensive knowledge of Performance Improvement and business principles needed to identify and resolve problems, many of which are abstract in nature, to plan and conduct complex project assignments, and to prepare reports. * Minimum of 3 years experience managing projects preferably in the Healthcare industry. * Experience with business and performance improvement planning. * Experience managing a project team as demonstrated through improvement in outcome measures. * Experience managing interdisciplinary projects that include various health care providers, finance, hospital staff, information system, and performance improvement professionals. * Experience with operational systems and their interrelationships. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience with key OSF applications preferred.
