Join us as a Clinical Technician in Minimally Invasive Surgical Support working in the fast-paced OR (operating room).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage multiple routine procedures to include all tower functions, pre-operative set up, knowledge and application of instrumentation at the hospital, independently.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting of instrumentation in the Operating Room (OR) at a basic level.

• Assist physicians and other clinical staff members as requested.

• Record and input all appropriate paper and electronic forms, including quality indicator data.

• Complete tray audits to ensure accuracy.

• Ensure that supplies are stocked and available as needed.

• Clean equipment and instruments at the end of each case.

• Prepare equipment for the next case.

• Dispose all refuse appropriately.

• Handle call coverage assignments independently.

• Adhere to all required policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

• Answer questions and provide knowledge for those individuals with lesser experience.

• Support Clinical Specialist or Manager in training others in routine cases.

Education:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, required.

• SPD certification required within one year, unless otherwise specified by the customer account.

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification, preferred.

Experience:

• At least one (1) year of clinical experience.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
