Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist

Join us as a Clinical Technician in Minimally Invasive Surgical Support working in the fast-paced OR (operating room).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage multiple routine procedures to include all tower functions, pre-operative set up, knowledge and application of instrumentation at the hospital, independently.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting of instrumentation in the Operating Room (OR) at a basic level.
Assist physicians and other clinical staff members as requested.
Record and input all appropriate paper and electronic forms, including quality indicator data.
Complete tray audits to ensure accuracy.
Ensure that supplies are stocked and available as needed.
Clean equipment and instruments at the end of each case.
Prepare equipment for the next case.
Dispose all refuse appropriately.
Handle call coverage assignments independently.
Adhere to all required policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
Answer questions and provide knowledge for those individuals with lesser experience.
Support Clinical Specialist or Manager in training others in routine cases.

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, required.
SPD certification required within one year, unless otherwise specified by the customer account.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification, preferred.
Experience:
At least one (1) year of clinical experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
