About the Role: As the Millwork Shop Director, you will oversee quality control, material management, and coordination with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will enhance assembly detailing, cost tracking, and shop floor efficiency while managing client and contractor relationships. Daily Life: Manage shop workflow and logistics, ensuring projects are on time and within budget. Coordinate with project managers and oversee quality control. Optimize processes, hire and train staff, and address plan inconsistencies. Use tools like Smartsheets to manage workflow and prioritize issues swiftly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality control, material management, and coordination with Project Managers.
• Enhance assembly detailing, cost tracking, and shop floor efficiency.
• Manage client and contractor relationships.
• Utilize Excel, Word, and AutoCAD for operational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

• 8-10 years managing high-end residential mill shop operations.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of wood products and mill shop machinery.
• Ability to read and understand plans and drawings.
• Experience managing multiple millwork packages.
• Strong managerial and communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of engineering, fabrication, finishing, and installation of woodwork.
• Keen on professional development.
• Thrives in high-pressure situations.
