Position Purpose Summary:

We are seeking a Mill Operator

• Lead for our Birmingham, AL branch. In this position you will be responsible for safely and efficiently re-stacking product by hand as it comes out of the machinery, pulling hard wood lumber with a Forklift and operating all machinery in remanufacturing hardwood lumber while minimizing damage and ensuring customers receive quality materials.

Compensation:

• $22.50 per hour with the opportunity for overtime

Responsibilities

• Mechanical aptitude is required and used to control machine operations including minor equipment repair, identification of problems, and correcting problems.

• Ability to operate a Forklift safely and effectively

Qualifications

• Reading and writing English

• Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

• General knowledge of computers

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs

• Able to climb, reach, bend and pull.

• 6 months

• 1 year experience.
