COLSA Corporation is seeking a Military Equipment Analyst that will perform the following duties:
Will serve on a small team of intelligence analysts who maintain the equipment index in the Modernized Intelligence Database (MIDB). Candidate will work with analysts at the national-level Intelligence Production Centers to ensure MIDB contains a comprehensive collection of military equipment, including proper equipment codes, nomenclatures, aliases and classifications. Candidate will use Military Equipment Parametrics and Engineering Database (MEPED) and Equipment Code data to support Object Based Production of equipment objects in other data systems. Candidate will also be responsible for developing and applying advanced techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced system requirements and interfacing with the different levels of customers who use equipment codes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions):
Responsible for analyzing, defining, designing and developing new system requirements *
Assesses architecture and current limitations *
Defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters *
Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system *
Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies *
Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design *
May coordinate and consolidate design efforts on major projects
May provide work leadership to lower level employees
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8 years work related experience or 5 years recent experience specifically in the military systems/intelligence field
Currently active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance required with immediate eligibility for DIA-SCI Access
Ability to pass a Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph within 60 days of hire.
Experience in working with MIDB and MEPED highly desired
Experience working in or with national-level Intelligence Production Centers and/or US Combatant Commands highly desired
Currently active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance, with DIA administered CI polygraph
