Military Skills Enhancement Technical Instructor(S) - Multiple Openings

First Division Consulting, Inc. is actively seeking multiple Technical Instructors for full-time positions at Fort Cavazos, TX. These roles are crucial for delivering high-quality education and training in various military technical fields as part of our Military Skills Enhancement (MSE) program, known informally as the Troop School.

The qualified candidate(s) shall perform the following task:

• Teach one or more courses from a wide range of military skills enhancement topics, including but not limited to Ammunition Handling, Basic Life Support, Combat Lifesaver, and Global Combat Support Systems.
• Develop and maintain an instructional program in accordance with training requirements, assembling materials to be presented.
• Utilize effective teaching techniques and incorporate current examples and practical exercises into the learning process.
• Maintain professionalism and discipline in the classroom to enhance learning environments.
• Administer, record, and critique examinations, prepare remedial assignments, and submit recommendations for curriculum updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent professional experience.
• Documented experience in education or technical instruction.
• Expertise in the technical fields of Military Skills Enhancement.
• Minimum of five (5) years of military experience.
• Certification in Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC), or Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC).
• At least one (1) year of instructional or training experience.
• Ability to travel up to 40% for Mobile Training Team assignments.
• Must possess a Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
