Job Summary

TechWise is supporting a computer-based command post simulation exercise in Grafenwoehr, Germany at the USAREUR sim center. The exercise will replicate a Corps Command Post and have several divisions and brigades and enabler units reporting to it.

Enable the Corps Commander to achieve operational objectives assigned by the joint force commander by providing a unique set of capabilities that support joint functions and the Army warfighting functions through the MP disciplines of police operations, detention operations, and security and mobility support in a constructive simulation training environment. As required, participate in Corps Command Post B2C2WGs and act as a key member in the Corps staff Military Decision Making Process,.

Must understand contemporary and emerging security threats and be able to implement current U.S Army doctrine into the simulation driven exercise. Must also be an accomplished trainer.

Essential Functions

Military Police staff officer is the primary adviser to the Corps Commander on the best way to task military police units and available host nation police forces in support of the Corps Concept of the Operation.


Required Qualifications

  • Possess a current U.S. Secret security clearance.

  • Possess a valid U.S. Passport.

  • Experience coordinating military police operations.

  • Extensive experience monitoring current operations, maintaining ongoing operations, and communicating status information throughout the command.

  • Experience preparing orders and plans, including branches and sequels.

  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.

Strongly Desired Qualifications and Professional Experiences

  • Served as a Division/Corps Military Police Officer (PMO).

  • Experience overseeing reception, staging, onward movement, and integration operations.

  • School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) Graduate.

  • Extensive experience coordinating and synchronizing military police operations.

Prepare cases for presentation in municipal, county, and district courts. Be prepared to testify as to their accuracy. * Contact, assist and control intoxicated, assaulting, and resistive citizens using verbal skills and physical restraints. Respond to and settle verbal and physical disputes in manner to prevent future problems. * Provide assistance and information to the campus community and its visitors in the areas of crime prevention, personal safety and general security. To approach persons who engage in inappropriate or illegal behavior and modify behavior through education or enforcement. * Maintain and demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of laws and practices. Maintain current in firearms, non-lethal arrest, control tactics, first aid and CPR. * Respond to alarms of intrusion, fire and maintenance as well as any other internal security systems. * All other duties as assigned.
