Military Deception Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Support Military deception (MILDEC) planning, synchronization, and execution. Conduct research, analysis, and planning to integrate MILDEC into plans and operations. Coordinate with other information related capabilities (IRCs), special technical operations capabilities, and other compartmented capabilities to support development of plans, targets, and concepts of operations (CONOPs) supporting planning and execution efforts. Coordinate planning activities with the special technical operations (STO), SAP planner at SOCCENT to achieve preferred effects as applicable to MILDEC efforts. Provide expert MILDEC assessments, strategies, recommendations, far reaching experience, expertise, and unconstrained thinking in the development of MILDEC strategies, plans, and activities to support the SOCCENT Commander.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in Military deception planning, including planning, targeting, synchronizing and assessing MILDEC requirements within full-spectrum IO operations, developing and integrating MILDEC requirements within campaign strategy, plans, and orders

  • Experience in Joint operation planning and execution system (JOPES) and adaptive planning and execution System (APEX), and Military decision-making process (MDMP)

  • Experience with special technical operations, Cyber operations, Military information support operations and Military deception operations review and approval process

  • Experience with one tactical or operational MILDEC assignment

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • BA or BS degree

  • Completed 1 to 2 weeks MILDEC training course, and Joint MILDEC training course

Key Role: Provide professional leadership and Joint military expertise through onsite consulting assistance stationed overseas.
