Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Military and Family Life Counselor supporting Port Hueneme Naval Base in Port Hueneme, CA.

The contractor shall provide in-person, confidential, non-medical, counseling services in support of a program to support all Active and Reserve military service members and their families.

This Counselor position offers:

The Counselor will have the following requirements:

Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling.

Have and maintain a current and valid state license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice as a Counselor in the state of California.

Minimum of two years recent full time counseling experience post licensure; documented counseling supervision, oversight, and management experience.

Have and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)

AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN, WG-2892-11: Must have at least 18 months experience or training installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying electrical systems and major substation components of electrical system. Experience diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exists among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems. Experience making electrical repairs that require the use of precision measuring equipment and common hand tools. Experience in the setup and operation of computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment in manual, semiautomatic, or automatic mode to run existing and new (not fully debugged) diagnostic programs to test and analyze aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of systems such as navigational computers, radar, and related equipment and to repair discrepancies.
