Come join the DMVA team, apply today!The employee in this position conducts planned sessions of resident activities under the direction of the Therapeutic Recreational Services Supervisor that will lead residents of the Gino Merli Veterans Home to their highest level of physical, cognitive, and social abilities.

WORK SCHEDULE:

12:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Every other weekend & rotating holidays

40 hours/week; 8 hours/day

This position's hours can be flexed based on operational needs.

One year of experience as a Therapeutic Activity Aide in a Commonwealth facility; OR

Two years of paid experience in the field of physical, recreation, or occupational therapy; OR

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment may require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
