Serves as a Military Deception (MILDEC) Planner to the USCENTCOM J3 Information Operations Division. Supports USCENTCOM operational objectives by integrating Information Related Capabilities and special activities into military deception plans and executions. Supplements planning effort by leveraging intelligence support for target network analysis, center of gravity analysis, red teaming, and collection requirements. Develops assessment criteria and implements assessment plans to ensure accurate measures of performance and effectiveness of plans and executions. Collaborates with USCENTCOM components to ensure personnel are compliant with USCENTCOM orders and regulations, and supports operational activity as requested. Produces a variety of documentation to include Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Operation Plans (OPLANs), Operation Orders (OPORDs), Fragmentation Orders (FRAGOs), white papers, and other military documents as required. Prepares and presents briefs for guidance and decision by senior officials and government leaders.
May require shift and weekend work as well as CONUS and OCONUS travel.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 15 years work related experience or 8 years recent experience specifically in operational and/or strategic Military Deception planning
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Active TS/SCI clearance
Understanding of the MILDEC process
Understanding of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
Previous experience within Combatant Command staff
Excellent written, oral, briefing, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, and Word
Previous knowledge of and experience in USCENTCOM AOR
Attended Defense Strategic Planner's Course (DSPC), Joint Military Training Course (JMTC), or Joint Military Planning Course (JMPC)
Currently supporting activity in the USCENTCOM AOR
Previous experience working with Special Access Programs
