What You'll be Doing:
Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students
Under the supervision of a certified teacher, working with individual and or/small groups of student in a classroom
Monitoring students in a variety of different settings e.g. classroom, playground, cafeteria, library, etc.
Providing clerical support to the teacher

What You'll Need:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Job related experience is desired.
Minimum qualifications: Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (Hold an associates of arts degree, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher learning or have passed the state paraeducator assessment).

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
