Our Personal Lines Insurance department is seeking a Zone Vice President for our to join our growing team in the Midwest.
This is a full time, exempt role.
Overview/Summary:
The PL Regional Distribution Leader is responsible for delivering financial results across the region. The leader is the expert on personal lines sales within the region and drives consistency in sales practices and execution across the region. Responsible for the conversion of the top 20-30 agents across the region. Responsible for creating a high performance team, characterized by achievement, commitment to winning, and innovation. This includes developing the core competencies of underwriting, sales, and agency/territory management, through attracting, retaining, coaching and empowering leadership.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Develops and drives strategies for consistent execution across a specific region, with a focus on improving the development and execution and books of business from agent partnership
Responsible for the business development planning with agents located within assigned territory.
Oversees PL partners in a specific region with a focus on building stronger partnerships; gets personally involved in developing these partnerships when necessary
Clearly communicate the direction, goals and priorities of the region. Help lead change effectively by building commitment and a collaborative team environment.
Proactively identifies growth opportunities and directs field sales activities to execute against them.
Has the ability to quickly understand and spot trends in sales performance, leverage strengths and synthesize improvement opportunities.
Drive consistency in sales practices and execution across the territory
Serves as a conduit to Home Office and PL Field.
Consistently communicates field and customer experiences and needs to management.
Ensures proper deployment of sales resources
Ownership for driving talent management and development of PL Field resources within territory.
Manage PL ARVPs and hold them accountable for monitoring of state-level performance and financial analysis necessary to extract key business information. Shares accountability with ARVPs in talent assessments and performance evaluations for TSMs.
Required Skills, Key Competencies and Experience:
10+ year's personal lines insurance experience with demonstrated success in developing and leading an assigned region.
Advanced financial acumen.
Advanced Degree desired.
Ability to effectively cultivate strong business partnership with Agents.
Ability to sell Hanover's value proposition to the Agents
