We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on the Finance team. This position will be located in Los Angeles serving teams across the US and globally. The preferred candidate will:

  • Adopt the role of financial and operational leader for the US business;
  • Be the Gap-Bridger between the Finance and Client Service Team, providing financial data and insights to the finance team;
  • Manage the US P&L and operational process so that the Client Service Team can stay focused on managing and growing the business;
  • Manage the vendor payment process, being the point of contact between the company and vendor for any inquiries regarding payment of invoices;
  • Have passion for developing and implementing new tools and processes that increase operational efficiency;
  • Communicate with Client Service Team to ensure data in Salesforce and Oracle are accurate, which includes resourcing and project information;
  • Analyze previous client programs financial performance, determine factors that impacted the variance between budgeted versus actuals, use information to better budget future programs;
  • Analyze monthly revenue drivers (ie. Client-level performance, revenue recognition method, variable versus fixed costs); and
  • Help manage the month-end process for the US business, which includes reporting and journal entries.


Experience & Skills Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required
  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • A team player that has excellent communication skills and able to work with associates across different units
  • Able to work in fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Able to show initiative and make impactful decisions with little to no supervision
  • Proficient in Excel is required
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Understands accounting concepts, including revenue recognition and P&L statements
  • Excellent multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Experience with using Salesforce and Oracle is an asset

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) who will support the daily operations of the Media and Broadcast (M&B) Finance team, based in Los Angeles, California. You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial workflows for the M&B Finance group, relating to invoice processing, purchase order creation and vendor management. You will have the opportunity to work with our Manager, M&B Finance on Budget / Cashflow tracking, forecasting and reporting and as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders. A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the day-to-day vendor management and invoicing process including answering vendor inquiries, overseeing invoice processing, working closely with cross-functional teams to secure appropriate approvals and resolving payment issues. * Oversee the end-to-end process for onboarding new vendors and guiding them through internal systems and processes. * Ensure all Capital and Operating costs are coded and recorded appropriately. * Responsible for the creation of Purchase Orders as needed. * Actively manage the monthly/quarterly/annual close activities which include analyzing accounts, creating journal entries, performing account reconciliations, preparing reports and resolving issues as needed. * Serve as the primary resource for M&B Technology Capital and Operating cost reporting and analysis. * Assist the Manager M&B Finance in preparing presentations and supporting materials for Senior Management. * Prepare ad hoc projects and identify opportunities for reporting improvements. * Easily adapt to changing environment and responsibilities based on organizational needs. * Perform additional responsibilities as assigned or requested within the Digital & Technology Finance department. WHAT YOU WILL NEED * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management. * Big 4 Public Accounting Experience Preferred. * CPA and/or MBA Preferred. * At least two years' experience in a financial or analytical role. * Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving skills and organizational skills. * Must be able to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple projects / prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * The ability to listen and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing are essential. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels, both internally and externally, and to communicate / present to different audiences. * Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; a familiarity with E1 preferred. * Willingness to assist with special projects as needed. * Knowledge of construction projects and/or facilities management useful but not required.
