Position Summary:

This position reports to the Director of Engineering, and has supervisory responsibility for the assigned Mechanical Engineering staff to include designers and engineers. Primary responsibilities for this highly billable position include overseeing the engineering design function to ensure compliance with company standards and guidelines, the day-to-day resourcing and professional development of those in the group, the quality of the work performed, and engagement in business development activities.

Through delegation and collaboration; candidate will direct activities of engineers and design staff engaged in planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising design and construction of building projects for clients according to their desires, needs, and financial resources.

  • Responsible for all projects assigned to group

  • Manage and leverage group's resources and capabilities on a consistent basis, meeting company goals and objectives for quality and billability

  • May prepare client project presentations studies, and reports

  • Manage weekly design general and administrative (G&A) labor

  • Assist in developing project staffing plans and work forecasting

  • Have frequent contacts with equivalent level managers concerning projects, operational decisions or scheduling requirements

  • Works to develop technical strategies and procedures for the practice, including innovative tools and protocols associated with building performance and sustainability.

  • Mentoring junior-level staff


  • 7 years related experience in building design as an engineering professional is required

  • BS or MS in Engineering is required

  • Professional Registration (P.E.) is required

  • Previous experience in managing staff and workflow is required

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, is required

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

VIEW JOBS 10/9/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-07T00:00 <p>Spinvi is seeking Network Engineers well-versed in the design, deployment, management and troubleshooting of Cisco’s Identity Services Engine (ISE) Network Access Control (NAC) solution will be hired to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on the enterprise Comply-to-Connect (C2C) Team. Individuals selected for this position will initially serve in an engineering and design capacity. Once the ISE solution has been deployed to the production environment, the role will transition to a sustainment activity in support of ongoing C2C operations throughout the enterprise.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Hours/Shift:</strong></p><p>Full-Time, Monday – Friday Core hours must cover 9:00AM – 3:00PM</p><p><br> <strong>Employee Will Be Responsible For:</strong></p><p><strong>ISE Enterprise Administration</strong></p><p>Examples of the administrative responsibilities for the ISE Enterprise Network Engineers include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul> <li> <strong>Collaboration - </strong>Participate in meetings to understand and recommend the best technical, most cost-effective solutions to meet current capacity needs, offer long-term scalability, and performance requirements.</li> <li> <strong>Change Control -</strong> Adhere to and follow all change management policies to ensure functional tasks meet organizational requirements and are well documented.
