Mid-Level Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) Gaming Software Developer

Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create content used in Virtual Reality gaming environments for training scenarios.

  • Build and customize scenarios in MAGIC based on terrain, ports, airfields, energy infrastructure, and other factors to mimic the operational environment as closely as possible.

  • Integrate constructive and virtual training capabilities into one, comprehensive solution to ensure effective ISR training experience.

  • Use training architectures and networks to maintain Information Assurance compliance and promote interoperability across the AF.

  • Develop user interfaces and applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle, determining design methodologies and tool sets, completing programming using languages and software products, and designing and conducting tests.

  • Update MAGIC applications as new updates are released for device operating systems including Windows, IOS, and Android.

  • Ensure all security system updates are also updated for all MAGIC applications and games.

  • Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve functional objectives that align with business and customer needs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree and 2 4+ years relevant experience

  • Experience in developing games or Microsoft applications

  • Experience in developing UI/UX

  • Experience in C coding language

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience using 3D rendering engines

  • Must be a team player that welcomes new and challenging projects and has the ability to construct and implement unconventional and innovative solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • C#

  • Unity or Unreal Engine

  • Experience in Immersive Virtual Reality (VR) design and development

  • Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise.
