Support environmental remediation projects and have a hand in transforming tomorrow. As a mid-level environmental engineer/geologist/hydrogeologist you will work on environmental consulting activities that may include contaminated site assessment and remediation projects, remedial designs, and treatment systems for hazardous and toxic waste contaminated properties. During your time with us, you will also analyze and interpret geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental chemistry data and contribute to the development of technical reports. You may perform aspects of engineering and design functions and support environmental investigation and remediation projects, including all phases of planning, data analysis as well as reporting, oversight and data management. Works under minimal supervision, work is reviewed for adequacy on completion. May provide some technical guidance to less experienced design and engineering personnel.
Perform a variety of assignments involved in either the coordination of various environmental engineering, construction, purchasing, scheduling and start up aspects of a project, or the technical excellence of the environmental engineering portion of a project across all disciplines
May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Assist Project Manager, Leadership and Safety Lead
Ability to lead projects and interface directly with customer/client
Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects

4 or more years of environmental experience including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or other closely related technical degree
40-hr HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain
Environmentally focused education or experience
The ideal candidate should possess and can demonstrate some of the following skills and knowledge:
Team and safety-focused, possessing a solution-based work approach
5 or more years of experience
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to communicate effectively with project managers, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Ability to work in a team environment with a "no task is too small" attitude
A person already residing within commuting distance of our Atlanta office is highly preferred
