Middleware Administrator
Our client in the DTC is looking for a Middleware Administrator for a long-term contract position. The person in this role will be responsible for managing and administering the Middleware infrastructure components.
Essential Duties and

Install, configure, secure, patch and support IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment.
Install, configure, secure, patch and support web servers including Apache HTTP Server, IBM HTTP Server, Microsoft Internet Information services.
Develop and perform monitoring of application infrastructure for service availability.
Develop and support scripts and tools used for automation tasks.

2-4 Years of experience with IBM WebSphere 8.5.5 systems administration.
Additional experience with Middleware Systems administration.
Experience creating WebSphere Application Server clusters for high availability.
Knowledge of SSL certs and SSH public/private key security.
Strong understanding of networking and security concepts.
Experience handling issues from triage to resolution and providing root cause analysis.
Experience with Visual Studio and PowerShell Scripting, preferred.
Experience with Unix scripting (Bash, Perl, and Python), preferred.

This individual will provide leadership and contribute to establishment of technical direction for various middleware technologies supporting CoBank and Farm Credit Leasing Functions. They will also perform hands-on design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, on-call, maintenance, and planning tasks. This person will supervise other Middleware technical resources. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or relevant discipline * 8+ years' experience in system administration preferably in banking or the financial services industry, or appropriate combination of education and experience * 3+ years' experience managing information technology resources Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices, and ability to incorporate as appropriate into the CoBank environment * Excellent teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, and communications skills * Ability to develop and guide design, implementation, and support procedures * Advanced knowledge with one or more of the following technologies, tools and procedures * IBM WebSphere Application Server * Enterprise service bus technologies such as Red Hat Jboss Fuse * Enterprise scheduling tools such as BMC Control-M Workload Automation * RSA Authentication Manager * CyberArk * IIS and Apache web servers * UNIX and Windows Operating Systems * Disaster recovery procedures * Ability to conduct peer and subordinate design and code reviews and evaluate the quality of IT deliverables * Ability to identify changes in scope or work effort that could result in budgetary overrun or missed delivery dates * Familiarity with formal project management practices * Ability to provide off-hour, on-call production support * Focused on providing excellent customer service About CoBank CoBank stands strong as a $125 billion enterprise dedicated to the financial needs of agriculture and rural communities.
