Position Overview: This position entails teaching multiple subjects. Math (6th, 7th, and 8th grades), Science (8th grade), Literature (7th grade), and Religion (7th grade). The ideal candidate will bring expertise, enthusiasm, and a commitment to our mission and a math background.

Specific Responsibilities:

Develop and implement curricula and activities aligned with academic standards.
Design and conduct assessments to track student progress and inform instructional strategies.
Utilize data to continuously refine curriculum and teaching practices.

Participation Requirements:

Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Contribute to grade-span level activities.
Actively participate in the broader school community.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Maintain classroom discipline and escalate issues to administration when necessary.
Ensure students achieve mastery of academic standards.
Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
Keep detailed records of student academic performance and skills mastery.
Set clear objectives for all learning activities and prepare classroom materials accordingly.
Collaborate effectively with support staff, providing guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

Mastery of middle school Math, Science, Literature, and Religion subjects.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Valid State Certification (preferred).
Alignment with core beliefs and philosophies of The Catholic Church.
Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary: $40,000 (negotiable based on experience and program needs).
