Certification Requirements:

• NJ Elementary School Teacher with Subject Matter Specialization: Science in Grades 5-8 certificate and Teacher of Students with Disabilities required or

• NJ Elementary Teacher K-8 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities required or

• NJ Teacher of Biological or Earth Science and Teacher of Students with Disabilities required or

• NJ Teacher of the Handicapped required

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with NJ Student Learning Standards for Science

• Knowledge of Google for Education

• Experience integrating technology to enhance instruction

• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students

• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
