Middle School Science Teacher

Qualifications:
Possession of MA teaching license in Science, including SEI Endorsement
Demonstrated classroom teaching experience
Strong analytical abilities and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction
Collaborative work style paired with the ability to take initiative
Knowledge of current teaching methods & educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles
Ability to think critically, problem-solve, backwards plan, analyze & use data and prioritize the needs of the student
Unwavering belief that all students can achieve at high levels
Belief in a structured school environment that promotes a positive culture of achievement

Responsibilities:
Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards;
Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards;
Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices;
Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions;
Be accountable for student's mastery of academic standards; and
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
