Position: Middle School Science Teacher - Grades 6-8 - Leave Replacement

Position Summary: This position is for a leave replacement for a Middle School Science teacher. The teaching assignment will include 8th grade science and environmental science.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey Teacher of Science or Middle School Science endorsement

• Experience teaching middle school preferred

• Experience in implementing inquiry-based instruction

• Skilled in strategic instruction in the NJ Student Learning Standards

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated in his/her/their pursuit of professional growth

Start Date: August 28, 2024 - April 30, 2025

Working Conditions: Full time temporary position, salary as per negotiated contract, and health benefits
