Science Teacher for middle school grades 6 and 7 to cover Leave of Absence: August 12, 2024 to approximately September 27, 2024 (ending date tentative)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Ohio teaching license in Science (4-9) or Elementary K-8 or equivalent

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Middle School teaching experience and commitment to MTSS;

• Willingness to teach any course in area of licensure;

• Experience in implementing interventions targeting specific students' needs;

• Willingness to collaborate with department members to create and revise curricula and develop common assessments;

• Commitment to communicating with families and establishing positive relationships with students;

• Commitment to learning and implementing restorative practices;

• Commitment to equity and inclusion.
