Middle School Paraprofessional Opening

Milton seeks to fill a middle school-level paraprofessional position to establish a safe and lifelong learning environment where students will succeed. The candidates will have correct articulation and language use.

They will be willing to work in different instructional settings. They will be computer literate or willing to be trained. They will be flexible and able to deal with change.

They must meet HQP requirements or have two years of higher education. Suitable candidates will acknowledge the responsibility of respecting all students' privacy and maintaining confidentiality.

Performance Responsibilities:

Assist or directly carry out instructional/behavioral programs and collect data as needed, as assigned by the appropriate educational personnel both within the school and community setting, which includes but is not limited to addressing 504/ESS Plans and IEP goals and breadth of the curriculum in the context of regular education activities; Providing the minimal level of assistance necessary to allow students to participate in activities; Encouraging students to respond to and interact with classroom teacher and peers during activities, provide academic assistance to students with 504 or ESS Plans.
