Middle School Math Teacher

Clinton Central Jr/Sr High School is seeking a qualified Math Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, oversee daily classroom management for grades 6-8, and provide a positive learning environment for students.

• Collaborate on Math curriculum and program development

• Manage daily classroom for Math grades 6-8

• Implement Social Emotional Learning curriculum

• Evaluate student performance and manage classroom behavior

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Appropriate Indiana Education Licensure to teach Algebra & Geometry

• Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of students, staff and administration.

• Proficient and competent demonstration of reading and writing capabilities.

• Strong human relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy and presentation.

• Multi-tasking ability and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to utilize 21st century technological skills to enhance teaching and learning.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
