Spousal Information

  • The SEBT Plan requires spouses of covered employees to join their employer's group health plan (on at least an individual/single coverage basis) where such availability to coverage exists. Your spouses' claims will be considered for COB (Coordination of Benefits) under the SEBT Plan. Claims will not be considered for payment, however, until the COB Questionnaire is completed on-line. If both spouse and employee work for NWCS, the insurance cost for family coverage is $1.00 annually

Dental/Vision

  • Minimal cost to employee beginning 1/24
  • Tiered Plans available

LTD

  • Long Term Disability Insurance helps replace a portion of your income for an extended period. The benefit amount is 66.67% of your pre-disability earnings. Coverage beings after the end of the elimination period (90 days).

  • The Corporation contributes $86 annually toward the premium…..

  • Effective the 1st of the month after 30 days……For example….if start date is 8/6/2021 - the LTD effective date would be 9/1/2021.

Life Insurance

  • Basic Group Life Insurance in the amount of $25,000 is provided at a cost of $1 annually

  • Have the option to purchase additional voluntary life insurance - no medical questions asked for you and your spouse, if you enroll within the first 30 days of your employment.

  • Will have the option to increase life insurance coverage by $10k (employee only) annually with no medical questions

  • Rates are listed in the life insurance packet of information and the rates are based on employee age

American Fidelity

  • American Fidelity will be administering our flexible spending account (FSA) and recordkeeping.

  • Up to $2750 can be deducted from your pay pre-tax to pay for eligible medical expenses and up to $10,500 for dependent care expense.

  • American Fidelity will visit each school location to fully explain this program and will also talk to you about the Section 125 program which allows you to pay eligible premiums for specific insurance benefits pre-tax, per IRS regulations.

  • American Fidelity has additional insurance products available, which will be offered to you when they meet with you - including accident only, critical illness, cancer, life and short-term disability insurance.

Every year we will have an Open Enrollment during the month of November. During this time, you can change the health plan you are on or enroll in one of the other benefits, such as vision or dental, without a qualifying event.
